Industrial Paint Selection Guide
Industrial paints are used to protect and coat equipment, structures and surfaces exposed to moisture, chemicals, abrasion or temperature changes in workshops or during service. Choosing the right coating is not limited to the final colour: the substrate, type of corrosion, environmental conditions and surface preparation method also determine the required primer, intermediate coat and topcoat.
On this page, you will find groups such as epoxy primers, polyurethane coatings, alkyd coatings and heat-resistant paints. To choose between them, identify the installation location, exposure to substances, service temperature, desired appearance and maintenance plan. Each group has different applications, and the final specifications should be checked in the relevant product technical data sheet.
Before application, assess the condition of the substrate and the compatibility of the coating layers. Following the product instructions for surface preparation, coating thickness and drying time directly affects the performance of the coating system. For projects with special conditions, match the selected system to the technical information for that product and the actual requirements of the environment.
