Stone Epoxy Selection Guide
Natural stone epoxy is available in liquid, paste and gel forms for different processing and repair needs. Use this page to choose the relevant product group according to the stone and intended task: filling pores, repairing an open crack, bonding mesh or treating a stone block.
Select by stone and appearance
White and non-white marble-type limestone, granite and marble do not behave identically. Consider background colour, absorption, crack depth and the expected appearance after polishing. A clear resin does not guarantee the same result on every stone. Test the exact product on a sample of the actual stone before bulk ordering or full application.
Liquid resin, block paste or gel?
Liquid resin is considered where flow and penetration matter. epoxy stone block paste is assessed for filling and local repairs, while epoxy gel offers a different application consistency. Match each option to its own technical documentation; the generic name epoxy is not a substitute for viscosity and application requirements.
For vacuum block treatment, resin selection must match the equipment, injection process and block condition. Review the stone block vacuum epoxy for the intended process. Working time, viscosity and curing conditions need to be confirmed for the actual production line. Any pigment or colouring additive must be tested for compatibility and appearance with the selected resin.
Compare documented technical conditions
Request the exact resin and hardener codes, grade, packaging and current dated technical data sheet. Confirm whether the mixing ratio is by weight or volume, the working time at its reference temperature, curing conditions and the minimum interval before cutting or polishing. Do not substitute values from another product or convert weight and volume ratios without the necessary product data.
Prepare and clean the surface according to the product instructions. Dust, moisture and contaminants can affect bonding and appearance. Prepare only the quantity usable within the working time and do not alter the component ratio to speed up curing. Record sample conditions and the result after subsequent processing.
